What is a Level 2 Electrician?
In Australia, electricians must complete specialized education and certification to perform on a broad range of electrical jobs. As a result, electricians in Australia should have an ASP (Accredited & Authorised Service Provider) certificate to work as certified electricians on various electrical activities. The electricity supply Act of 1995 allows for the granting of ASP certificates by Ausgrid.
Level 1 ASP Electricians
A Level 1 ASP Electrician is someone who has completed electrical apprenticeship training and has attained the minimum competency standards for an electrician. A Level 1 ASP Electrician may work with minimal supervision, and may be required to supervise other less qualified workers.
